These filter adapters will "lock on" to the filter head for a semi-permanent installation - so there is no need to disassemble or re-plumb the system in order to change the filter in the future. Our solution is the ONLY spin-on solution for limited space under tanks - at 5.25", the adapter and F99-10B filter are specifically designed to be the same size as the canister they are replacing.
