Gruvlok SPF/Anvil Standard Lubricant is the standard lubricant that has been provided for use with Gruvlok and SPF products for years. Gruvlok SPF/Anvil Lubricant is water soluble, non-toxic, non-corrosive, non-flammable, and will not impart taste or odor. It is NSF approved for use with potable water. This lubricant is acceptable for most applications, however, the Gruvlok SPF/Anvil Xtreme Lubricant and Gruvlok SPF/Anvil Quick Dry Lubricant are now available to improve the performance of the couplings and flanges in certain applications.
