Hand drilling hammers are drop forged high carbon steel, heat treated, quenched and tempered heads. Available in head weights of 2, 3 and 4 lb, with burnt lacquer finish, grade B (or better), "second growth" hickory wooden handles. These special purpose hammers are designed for use with chisels, punches, star masonry and/or rock drills and hardened nails. Their design permits the delivery of heavy blows with limited swing.
